The Lincoln City Chamber of Commerce is hosting an Oregon Coast Business Conference this Thursday June 6th at the Lincoln City cultural center. This is an opportunity for business owners to learn more about how to market and grow your business. Jalene Case of Jalene Case Coaching & Professional Development will be doing her session on Leadership, Goal Setting and Taking Control of your business.
The Marketing/Advertising Panel will be talking about changes in the industry and proven ways to get the word out about your business. The panel will include those who have been involved in the marketing industry for a long time including Patrick Alexander, of Oregon Coast Today, Frank Perea from the Newsguard plus Jeremy Burke of the News-Times, Kiera Morgan owner of Pacific Northwest News and Entertainment and a member of Chinook Winds Marketing. According to Chamber Director Lori Arce-Torres "If you are questioning the most effective way to spend your advertising dollars you won't want to miss this conference".
There will be a catered lunch with a Hawaiian theme by Ocean’s Apart and after lunch Dave Price, with the Small Business Development Center at Oregon Coast Community College will be doing a session on new Target Marketing Techniques including digital marketing, and Geo-Fencing. Arce-Torres added that "If you don't know what that is you won't want to miss this conference".
The Tourism panel will feature Ed Dreistadt from Explore Lincoln City, Karin Moss, of SBMF, Arica Sears from OCVA), and Ryan McCarthey from Salishan, along with Josh from Chinook Winds, and Nan Devlin of Travel Tillamook will be talking about the best way to attract customers, changes in the tourism industry and ways to reach your target market.
