A single occupant was driving a commercial semi-truck pulling a single trailer west bound, when the driver made contact with a downed tree. The driver was wearing his seatbelt, the airbags did not deploy, and he was not intoxicated. The impact of the tree crushed the windshield, and part of the cabin as well. The trailer was undamaged. The driver sustained minor injuries from the broken windshield. An ODOT crew cut and removed the tree from the roadway.
